Story is 3!!

Story turned 3 today!! She had a really rough morning, she had a hard time waiting for her friends to come over for her Simba party. Once they finally got to our house she was much more relaxed.

She loved her cake. I searched at Target, Walmart, Costco, and Payson Market. NO ONE will make a Lion King cake. Even though it was just released in theaters again. I tried and tried to convince her that she should have a different kind of party, but she insisted. SO, we bought some lion king toys, some frosting and some animal crackers and made a little make shift cake. We cut the corners off to make pride rock and put Simba on top. :)

The kids all got funny glasses and whistles in their party bags. The whistles were.... a bad idea. I'll just say it. It was obnoxious. :) The glasses were fun though.

Gauge didn't appreciate them. He was a little monster at the party. He's sooo so quiet, so I turned around and he's got a breadstick in one hand and pizza in the other just munchin away. Then next thing I know he's coated in frosting from someone's cake that he silently got into. Then he spilled punch everywhere. I swear i'm not completely neglectful, he is just so quiet when he's getting into trouble.

Story got lots of great presents. Lots of dolls and barbies and a pony. She LOVES them!  She got a "shep" outfit and insisted on making a pb&j in it after the party. She's naked underneath, because she was wearing underwear and pee'd everywhere, so we hadn't changed her into anything but a diaper until the pb&j were devoured.

 Gauge was very unimpressed by everything except the bread sticks that gramma kept feeding him. He is a sucker for Gramma Kristi. If she's around no one else exists. Not even me. But I'm okay with that, I am glad he loves his grandma, but I feel bad for her. :)

Anyway, Happy Birthday to my sweet girl!
