our weekend.

I have recently discovered that people other than Old Navy sell jeans. It's been a great discovery for me, especially because they are the same price. Its nice to be able to fit into clothes at the mall like a normal person. Feels good.

Story is very into helping cook, so today she helped me make a special treat to take to grandmas and we wore our aprons and she wore her chef's hat. She helped dad make eggs for breakfast too.

On an unrelated note, we measured our kids back in September and we measured them again yesterday and they've both grown a ton in 3 months! Those tick marks aren't inch marks, because i'm boarded, but they've both grown a lot in a couple months. I'm surprised a person can grow that much in such a short time. Gauge has almost caught up to Felix in height and he's 5 months older than him. Must be all the cereal he eats. :)

We've had a happy weekend. I took Friday off to spend time with Keri, so its been a nice long weekend for me. I definitely needed the break from work. Sometimes I get a little burnt out of all the politics and need a long weekend to not think about it. I am pretty sure every job is that way. Its nice to recharge though.

I love, love the family photo and your new red jeans. Yeah for shopping at the mall and you look great! I also think that deer head in your last post is amazing!

The pants were kinda hard to see through the crayon, but then I saw the other pictures. I love them! I'm glad she likes her present.

YEAH! I am so happy she likes her present. I haven't seen that girl since! I love the red jeans, I could NEVER pull them off, but they are soo you. I still need to make our ruler the right height so I can measure our kiddos. I haven't decided the spot yet because of the Christmas decor.
