So at work my friend Rebecca helped me Yudu (aka, silk screen) some shirts for Jerome!

The one above is an evolution shirt.

This one is a "Big Bang Theory" t-shirt.

This is Jerome's favorite thing to do to Story. He calls it Ogre face. So glamorous.

FUn

We had a fun weekend! We took Story swimming yesterday before all the family got to mom's. Story looked so stinkin' cute!

This is her floaty car. She liked being in the water where she could kick more than the little car.

She was so stinkin' tired, she didn't nap ALL day long! She cuddled with uncle Kory for a while. She didn't even sleep in the car on the way home. she just stared out the back window, but went right to bed when we got home.

On Sunday, she got to make out with her boyfriend Tyrone. They have a weird love affair going on. She seriously get so excited to see him, she kicks her legs and opens her mouth wide when she sees him, so she can suck face with him. its so funny. When she's mad at him she just barfs on his face.

Big Bang Robot

So, jerome and i started watching The Big Bang Theory it is totally fantastic! It just so happens that they build a battlebot on the show and in the click below they explain the exact robot competition we are going to. Jerome might get to fight the robot they built on the show! Its in his weight class, so its a possibility. Also in the clip it just reassures my assumption about robot dorks. Listen to what the guy with the lisp says at the end. its pretty funny. There's a weird part at the beginning that has nothing to do with what i want to show you, so sorry... enjoy!

3 iS bEtTeR tHaN 5.

Yesterday i went to the dentist. Its been a very long time since i've had a check up. The last time i went was because i woke up in tears, i badly needed a root canal when i was a couple months pregnant. I tracked down the dentist i used for that root canal, lucky for me he moved to Payson! He's a great dentist, their office is really nice. He works in Aspen Family Dental (which has TV AND massage chairs!!) Turns out i only have 3 cavities! That is really good for me, I know it sounds awful. But YAY for me! After i went to the dentist i went to Leisha and got my hair done! (thus the above picture) I was pretty desperate to get it dyed, because i had tried some at home dye that didn't work out to well. She taught me how to do my hair for my face shape and i love it! Jerome was sweet enough to take Story for the whole evening. I got her out of bed and held her when i got home, too much time away from her.

FiRsT sWim

Just so you know, i always feel really stupid posting things the day after they happen, Jerome has lovingly adopted a phrase from his brother Gabe that drives me crazy. Every time i pull out the camera for a picture he says, "For the blog!" (thanks Gabe) But i just can't help posting, so don't judge.

Yesterday we had a really fun BBQ at Jerome's dad's house. Story got to play in the swing (check out those shades!) and make out with her boyfriend Tyrone (the moose from Backyardigans) She also got to swim with cousin Rayder. They were so cute together!

We opted for the one piece this time, its still a little cold, although Don and Kristi brought out hot water from the sink. These kids are spoiled and they love it! :0)

Story had so much fun, but turned pretty purple after we got her out. She gets freezy pretty fast.

Cute little boy. He was so good with Story, he takes good care of her.

CouLdN't ReSisT

I went to get Story some new clothes, believe it or not, she's grown out of most her clothes again. But i saw this swim suit and just couldn't resist!! it was only $6.48. I seriously heart Target. Rainey told me where to find their clearance, i found some great onsies for only 2 bucks! Story's going to be the hottest baby by the pool! Unless Syd's there, then they can share the title. :) We even got some swim diapers and some sweet sunglasses for the upcoming memorial day BBQ.

BaTtLebOtS!!

Jerome has been working away on his robot, he is getting ready for the competition in June! We're heading out on the 10th to San Francisco! This will be our first trip with bug, wish us luck!

This was 2 weeks ago, he's a lot further now, this robot has been named the "Kassinator" and it will have a claw on the front to lift other bots and flip them over, it will also have a flame thrower!

We'll have to post a video when its up and running!

Only 4 more weeks from today!!

I just can't wait to meet all the battle dorks, its probably been months since they've emerged from their mother's basements. :0)

1sT rEaL mOtHeR's DaY

i had a great first mother's day! Above is the cutest card that Story made for me (with the help of Gramma Kristi) She actually got this hand print while Story was asleep, the ones they tried while she was awake didn't look much like hand prints. :0)

I asked jerome to buy me this cute key chain, which he got me, but he also surprised me with a bread maker!! We've had a lot of fun this weekend making bread. You can even put the ingredients in at night and set the timer, so you can have a hot fresh loaf of bread when you wake up, its fantastic!

I'm sure Rainey's pictures are much better than this one, but these two girls are adorable! They got to spend lots of time together this weekend. Story tried to pull Syd's hair, so Syd sucked on Story's arm. its fun to watch them sort of interact.

All in all, my first mother's day was fantastic. Jerome let me take a long nap and relax before church, then we went to my mom's house for dinner. Good day!

5 MoNtHs!

Can you believe this little girl is 5 months old already? I took her pictures yesterday for her book and i can't believe how big and old she is getting! She's already wearing 12 month clothes! I also think she's getting her first tooth, because she's acting really strange with her mouth and she's been a bit of a grouch at night. We shall see, i bought her a little teething ring that you stick in the freezer. They had vibrating ones, but i figured that would just scare her.

At ThE pArK

The 3 of us went for a walk yesterday to the park. Story got to swing on the swings and slide down the slides. It was only for a few minutes, but it was fun.

Can't you tell she had a killer time? :)

Seriously the video isn't much of anything. Just her on the swings and going down a slide. Jerome wouldn't let me post my favorite one of her on the slide, because it borderlines on child abuse, because it was pretty high up.

bUsY WeEkEnD!!

Weekend started out with Story getting an awesome hat from aunt Kelli!! I made her wear it while we went shopping at Costco and Jerome was so embarrassed about it! We ran into a few people we know, which i am sure made it worse. i think she looks so cute!

Saturday we ran a bunch of errands and had Kory and Amy over for dinner and watched Slum Dog Millionaire, which was pretty good.

Sunday we got to go to Ashdon's baby blessing, Brandon did an awesome job and Ashdon is so little and cute! And after the blessing i got to play with Syd. She is so petite and cute! (Sorry Story, you're cute too!) Then we went over to Grandma Kristi's house for dinner...

Kristi says what happens at grandma stays at grandmas (thus the picture of Rayder eating brownie batter, but i had to share it. He is so good with Story, he always brings her her binki when he sees she is without it). And last night, Story stayed the night at grandmas. It was hard to leave her, but Jerome and i went and saw Wolverine.

It. Was. Awesome!

But, i am anxious to see Story tonight after work! Miss her like crazy!
