Voila!

I finished the cabinets. they look better not up close.... oh well. We got pretty new hardware for them. Lucky for me, i really loved the cheapest handles at Lowe's. They kind of look like bottle caps. We got new hinges too, because they were gold and i kinda ruined one during the door removal process.... oops! Anyway, I think they look fabulous!! Here's the before and after. Now i just need to paint the walls and set up my little computer/printer station and make curtains for the window!

This girl has lots of babysitters and lots of grandma's and unfortunately she's learned to work the system and has every last one of them wrapped around her chubby little fingers, including her parents. She currently has 2 banana chairs in the living room that she lounges across to watch her backyardigans. She stands up and surfs on them and jumps from one to the other. She's a brave girl. She pretty much gets whatever she wants. Its going to be a big shock when she has to share.

Nothing terribly exciting happening right now that i can document yet, hopefully our projects will be done soon and we'll be able to post some pics.

BuSy

Jerome said he's sick of my blog having the same post up for the last week, so here goes. We are very busy. We're trying to get our CNC machine done, so that we can get our etsy and ebays stores going. We are REALLY excited about the CNC machine, because of the awesome things you can make with it. Jerome has worked his a$* off getting it ready for us. He gets up at 6am and works all morning until its time to go to work and then works on it at night sometimes. We have so many ideas we're just dying to try out. I am going to be sewing some messenger bags and diaper bags for our store as well. although they cost a lot to make, hopefully they will sell!

Anyway, the way my brain works is by hyper organizing and then getting to the real work. i've always been that way, can't help it. So in order for me to get serious about our etsy store, i need a good space to work in, so my latest project that i started last night is project laundry room. This is something i want to do on my own, without much help from Jerome. I do need a little help though, because i'm slightly handi-capped when it comes to hanging cabinet doors and dry wall. Anyway, i've started painting my cabinet doors. I've got big plans for this room. Hopefully it will come together sooner than later.

I also have all these ideas for work that are just swirling around in my head, waiting to get out, but I have to do one thing at a time sometimes!

*Sorry, a CNC machine is a machine where you screw down a piece of wood and the computer tells a router where to cut, so we can design anything and cut it out of wood basically.

Usually Story wont wear hats, but yesterday she was very sleepy and got shots; so i took advantage of her laziness. I woke her up from her nap, because it was getting too late in the evening for naps and i put these mouse ears on her and she was too tired to fight it, so she wore them around for an hour. :)

She doesn't always like getting her picture taken...

Especially when you take her binki away to take the picture.

Getting a picture of this girl is a major challenge lately, i took 40 pictures yesterday and got 4 that weren't blurry from her running away.

This is my cutest goose. I took this this morning after breakfast, she's all ready to go to grandmas and play with cousin Ray and cousin Harley. I'm wondering how long that bow in her hair will last...

if you give this girl a smoothie...

She'll be your best friend until its gone... Then she'll scream and throw a big fit. Her fits are pretty funny. She sits down really hard, then carefully lays her head down, then she'll kick her feet if its a big fit. Lately she's thrown in the crying, but they didn't use to be so..."intense". :)

We had a family night dance party on Monday. Jerome broke out his dance CD and we turned it up and danced with Story. She LOVED it!! She got a little timid when the camera was rolling, but you get the gist. I think Backyardigans and Amy have taught her to move her arms while she dances. She gets really into the music when its on.
