NeW DiGs

^This is my current desk in all its messy ikea glory.
If you remember a while back I said that my company announced they were moving to Sandy. Well, that time has finally come. It was SUPPOSED to happen April 1st, but that didn't happen. Our last day in our old building is June 4th. Last Friday they took us up via bus and let us look at the new building. I'm pretty excited about moving, the new building is really nice. Plus i sorta like change and new, so what's better than getting a new 2nd home?

These are our new desks. They are a little bright, but i think that i really like them. Our chairs are pretty freakin sweet. We're on the 2nd, 5th and 6th floors or our new building (yeah, we have a big gap between, but its IT on the second floor and no one likes them). We have pretty fancy elevators, that will take getting used to. Elevators make me queasy.

This is one of the lunchrooms, there is one on every floor.

This is the new front desk. They have fancy cork flooring on the 6th floor (I will be on the 5th).

This is the view from my area. I'm pretty excited about this part, its even more impressive in person. I kind of like looking at other buildings, in fact i prefer it to looking at mountains and stuff, i just think buildings are more interesting i guess. I'm excited about the move, the commute kinda blows. Right now it takes me 15 minutes to get to work, its going to take a bit longer once we move, but i am ok with that. Especially since i will be stopping half way to pick up story various places anyway. Just a couple weeks more in our old building. pretty cool!

I can't believe you said no one likes the IT guys. Kyle is going to be so hurt! The idea of moving my office is way too overwhelming for me to do it. I'm supposed to be doing it for a better office, but it sure isn't as cool as yours.

Wow that looks like a nice place. I'm with you, change is always good. Hopefully the commute isn't too bad.

Now you don't have to avoid making eye contact with the person behind your monitor!

I drove by your office the other day and was like oh...that's where Kass works.

I can't believe you took a picture of team butt crack!

I was getting my hair done right before you at Leishas. Was that for the wedding? Your family pic looks great!

Your new office looks great. I would love having a view at work, too. I always worked retail, so my view was angry customers.
And all those lunchrooms? Total. Awesomeness.

That is a really cool office - I've never worked at such a nice office - our company is super cheap! Good luck with the move!

Woah woah woah...everyone likes IT guys you just have to pretend like you understand what they're saying, hand them a snickers, smile and lastly nod. :)

This place looks awesome! I'm excited to have lunch dates!
