Friday after work Story and I got home and there was something on our porch. It was a brand new little Great Dane or a Boxer puppy. (i can't ever tell the difference). Anyway, we got out of the car and I said, "Story look a puppy!" She looked over, grabbed on me and started bawling!! She would not let go of me and wouldn't calm down. Everywhere i walked the puppy was right on my heels and tried to come inside with me. We finally get in the door sans puppy and I sat on my bed holding Story, rocking her for 10 minutes trying to get her to calm down. After i got her to stop crying we went to the window to watch the puppy. She stood in the window sill for a long time making sure the puppy wasn't coming inside.
After about 15 minute the puppy ran away and never came back.

Saturday was the big day for Jerome's brother Kris. Him and Mel got married! Story had a blast running around outside all day with music playing, stopping to dance every few feet. Before the ceremony she went up to the front and danced for everyone.
Ryan and Joey came for pictures in their black get ups. :) They looked pretty sharp and smiled for the pictures.
Story and Taimi had matching tutus for the day.
All the girls had black dresses with some sort of purple at the bottom and feathers in our hair. I had purple tule to match Story's tutu. Story wore Jerome out pretty bad. He chased her around all day in his tux. He is always amazing to take care of Story when we are out. I get overwhelmed really easily when we are in new situations or when family is around. I'm kind of silly like that. We had a good Saturday, it was really fun to be there for Kris and Mel's big day. Story chased Rayder and Carter around and made some new friends. She had a blast. By the end of the day she was laying on the concrete, because she was so tired.

Why was she afraid of that dog? She pushes Celeste around all the time? Weird. Did that puppy get back to where he belonged? Congrats to the newly weds!
She was a little weird about my cat too when they met. She probably has PTSD from your dogs, Kory. Do you have pictures of Mel?! You guys do look great. I hope it was fun and not just stressful.
Vic and I are that way when we go out, especially when our kids were babies. He takes care of them because I get overwhelmed with everything that's going on.
Keri i am glad i am not the only one!! it makes me feel SUPER guilty that i am that way, but i get super stressed out.
Kelli, Mel looked gorgeous! i dont have any pictures, i'm sure she will post some on facebook though. Kristi made her dress and she looked awesome!
What a fun weekend - you all looked so great in the wedding outfits. Jerome is a great Dad and I'm glad he is supportive of you both :)
You guys really did look great. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. And I just let Jeff take care of the kids when we are out--just because it's his turn. :)
Brandon had to experience the same thing that Jerome did. Saturday was Sue's wedding and you can't really chase kids when you are wearing heels.
