This is totally disgusting, i could hardly be in the room while he was cutting all this up, but its a huge money saver and thought i'd pass on the knowledge:
Jerome and i bought a $23 rump roast (on sale from $40). It was the size of our toddler. It was disgusting and vacuum sealed and gigantic. It however, when cut up, can provide 10 meals of steaks (for 2). We chopped it all up into strips, smothered it in BBQ sauce and grilled one bag of it. We froze the other 4 bags and had one bag last night for dinner and I'm having some for lunch at work today. Usually steak for 2 from Walmart is at least 10 dollars, so we saved $30 bucks. Anyway, just thought i'd share the love.

I haven't had time to blog in awhile. Story seems to be getting around pretty good. I haven't seen you guys in awhile. But I guess I'll see you on Sunday. I hope your Friday the 13th is better than your Monday the 9th was.
really that grosses you out? good deal tho, was it from he meat man? we were thinking about buying a whole cow but i don't know where to start
Sky's parents bought a TON of frozen meat from a traveling meat salesmen... ha that sounds weird. But I'm sure buying in bulk saves a lot of money, and buying that roast was a good idea! I'll have to remember that next time I go grocery shopping.
I have been pretty sick for the past week and a half and I was really feeling stressed out and tired and I read Amy's post about that book and decided to go to the Salem library and check it out. I LOVED it because it's just a feel good book and it really makes you realize what's important. :)
