Lately i've been sewing a lot. I'm having fun making new patterns and throwing them together (like Mr. Owl above). i've got a big sewing itch and wish i could do it all day. Unfortunately i have a day job. There's so many different projects i want to try right now, so much that I'm not doing the things i really need to get done like a million garlands and curtains for Story's room. I've also been getting ready for Christmas. I'm loving the Christmas music and the season this year. I do however refuse to put up the Christmas tree until after Story's birthday, i don't want a tree in her birthday pictures. That will probably be something i wait to do every year.
I forgot to take a picture, but Jerome recently built me a beautiful coffee table! Ours broke when we flipped it over to trap a mouse behind our couch, so he made some new legs for ours out of steel. It really looks great and i'll post a pic soon. He's amazing. :)
Story has been learning to walk, she's getting so good at it and I'm so proud of her. She'll be walking like a pro by her first birthday!
We're excited for thanksgiving this week and I am SO SO Stoked i only have to work 3 days this week. Poor Jerome has to work his day off (tuesday) and only gets Thursday off. He's pretty jealous of me this week. Poor guy. Im excited to look through the ads with everyone after dinner and have Story's first turkey day. Im really afraid that she's going to eat so much that she will throw up, she's not good at saying when.
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving week to all!

Your owl really did turn out super cute, I can't wait to try it out myself. I think you are amazing! I admire all you do I just don't know how you get it all done on top of working full time!? What is your super drug? haha J/K! Can't wait for Story's birthday! I can NOT believe it has already been a year! Before you know it these babies will be pushing us in strollers or wheelchairs :)
Way cute stuff. That sucks that Jerome has to work on his day off...but I remember what it was like, trying to pay your dues. Not fun. It eventually gets better, though. I can't believe the girls are going to be a year old. Where did this entire year go?
That owl is adorable! I wish I could sew, but definitely did not pay attention in that class in highschool.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, your family is adorable.
