December. It is the most exciting month, but the very hardest to come to work. The worst is when you've just had a killer 4 day weekend and you have to come back to work and can't keep your eyes open. One thing that i just cant stand is having a to-do list ten miles long and you can't get anything done because you're trapped at work. December is one of those months where i can't do anything on my to-do list until i get home from work everyday at 7. If you can't tell, today's a struggle. I think every working soul is feeling my pain today. Last December i didn't have to work, because i was on maternity leave... That was kinda nice. ;)

Anyway, i am in major need of some easy rice recipes. Jerome and i got rice cooker for Christmas (Walmart special $15 bucks) and i've got nothing. Please please help. Because i wont have my rice cooker for 25 days, i need recipes that don't require a rice cooker too. Please help me. I am putting those potato recipes from a while back to work this week. Thanks in advance!

Oh I have a great one! I loved my rice cooker (RIP) it died a month or so back. One that is always nice, is make some plain rice, then in a crock pot throw in cream of chicken soup and a cup of med salsa (we use pace chunky) mix together throw in 4-6 chicken breasts (we use frozen ones) let cook on low 4-6 hours or high for 3 and you're done. Then when it is done just put the chicken on the rice, and then I always put the sauce mixture in a gravy boat to pour over the rice. And you are done!

I have a bunch of other recipes too, that are WAY easy with rice. I will email them to you.

Sorry about your going back to work. :( I remember what it was like. And saying "it sucked", was putting it way nicer than it deserved. And I wish Jeff liked rice, because then I'd have a rice cooker, too. I love rice. I wish I could make that sweet rice, like from Bajio.

I have the Cafe Rio rice recipe if you want it. I am too lazy to get up and get it right at this moment but I will find it and email it to you. You can make it in the rice cooker or on the stove.
