We haven't really been robbed, but we are starting construction on our kitchen today. These cabinets are ORIGINAL!! 100 years old! They're coming out today! Unfortunately everything is stacked in Story's room, so the Nursery pic will have to wait until the new cabinets are in. We're ripping out the subfloor too, so there will be a ten foot whole in the kitchen leading down to the dirt cellar basement. SCARY!!! Hopefully we'll have the new subfloor in by Friday, so i wont have to stress about Jerome falling without insurance! :0) This is definitely going to be an adventure, one I'm glad we're going on before the baby is born! I'll keep you posted! :0)

I still think it's a shame to take out those cabinets.
Yeah! Yeah those succors need to go! And I think with all the dust and demolition and noise, doing it before the baby comes is a great idea. Good luck with that! Let us know if you need any help with demo!

I'm excited for you. It all comes down to what makes your home feel "homey" to you. That's for sure. I'm excited to see what kind of floor you'll be putting in. I've wanted tile in my Kitchen for forever. Maybe someday. But, probably not.
You should put all the supplies you need in the basement while it's easy so you don't have to try and get them down those stairs and around that corner.
