The rest of our house is still a huge mess and no put back together yet, but here are pictures of the one clean room...
For those of you that saw our bedroom before this might seem like a down grade, but with just having the one color in here it seems SOO much BIGGER! It matches the ret of our house wonderfully and its so nice to have our space back! In the picture above notice our new windows and how big they are! They're a foot taller, i can actually see out of them now! The others were so high up that i couldn't see out at all. That tiki head on the wall on my side is a tissue dispenser.
We put in bi-fold doors instead of those huge doors that were there before, now my nightstand doesn't get a big scratch on it every time you open the closet doors. :0)
This is our well worth the money closet organizer! We love it! Now there's an organized space for all my shoes and my sheets and blankets. Jerome obviously gets the top rack, because i can barely reach them! That thing on the left is Jerome's light up, rotating tie rack.
This picture is kind of boring, but its our dresser and TV. That yellow thing is our super duty fan it can move some serious air! Its nice to have out in the summer when its so hot! We also put in a new ceiling fan and moved the one that was there into my scrapbook room, but i didn't get a good picture of it. We're really excited for our new bedroom. After being SO CRAMPED in Story's room it feels like a hotel, because its so big! We're loving it and our new carpet! We're still sorting through things and i'll put up pictures as we get things in their place. Thanks for looking! Is it an upgrade or a down grade?

You should show the before pictures too. It looks good though. Don't you hate how the pictures don't show how much work you put into them?

I'm so glad you're done! That other bedroom was so tiny it made me claustraphobic just looking in it, because I never even went in. I think you're room looks cute. I miss the two-tone, but the walls look good with your new comforter. The other paint job wouldn't have matched at all.
I like what you did, but I really liked your room before with the two tone gray. However, I think it goes perfectly with your house, and the windows look so good and I love your closet organizer, the person who suggested it to you really must know her shizz...

A definite upgrade. Sometimes it's just so nice to have your room look like a place for grown-ups, you know? Also, redoing stuff just makes you feel more established. I want to redo ours, too.

Are you at work today? I called PC to get Steve O's extention and the automated phone system didn't even give me the extention option, it just said our office is closed today due to maintence. How come I never got one of those days?
