...SEWER PIPE! Are ya jealous???

Last Wednesday when we ripped out our scrapbook room Jerome was in the shower cleaning up and hell ensued... The toilet bubbled over spilling water all across the bathroom floor. We had experienced something very similar a year before in this same house and KNEW it was time to call Rescue Rooter (PS, don't use that company, they over charge!!!) They came out first thing Thursday morning and charged us an arm and a leg to just look at it... they shoved a camera down our main sewer line and where there should have been a big clean pipe, there was maybe a quarter inch hole for all our our poop and fun stuff to go down. Needless to say the following Tuesday my dad's neighbor came out to replace 40 feet of the magical pipe. It came out in chunks and crumbled a lot. Jerome and my sweet dad came out and helped out! Now we are clog free and able to do laundry and shower (at the same time!) with ease!

That pipe would never work with the kind of loads I put down the toilet. Thank goodness you fixed it before i came over!
As everyone knows...I have Lysol on hand.
Also, I feel your pain. Jeff and I had water problems when we first moved into our house, and it was a nightmare. We couldn't use the toilets, we couldn't shower, I was pregnant and pissed. Thankfully, the first part was remedied.
Yeah you don't realize how much you use your water until you don't have it anymore. I feel your pain this week, but your water problem was much more stressful then my water problem. I am glad you fixed it, and thank heavens for your dad!

A shout-out to dad! Your house was his second stop for fixing his kid's stuff that day and then came over and helped me with my plumbing problem.
