I just love this stinky boy lately. He's been so much fun and been so sweet. Even though he's a stink and gets into everything. He's starting to laugh so much more and it makes me so happy! I'm glad he's not so serious anymore.
He has gotten really hard to take to church. We go at 9, so by 10 he is sooo ready to go down for a nap. The last few weeks have been a major struggle for us. It was when Story was about this age that we didn't go for 6 months until she was in nursery.
Story has had a little bit of a hard time adjusting to primary. She is a little sad that there is no toys in class. I was waiting outside her primary room door yesterday waiting for her class to be over and I heard her screaming at the teacher. The teacher brought her out a little exasperated at the end and seemed so glad to get rid of her. Kinda sad, but i definitely don't blame her. Story is such a sassy boss.
She has really loved making cookies with dad lately. Her favorite part is eating the "snow balls" or cookie dough. She is getting so smart. she can sing her favorite song backwards, count to ten in spanish, count to 15 in english and sing her ABC's. She remember's everything we tell her, sometimes its unfortunate. I asked her the other day if she had any legs and she said, "yes! they're on my pants!"

cute! gauge looks so squishy and happy.
Have you tried taking him to the mothers room and just rocking him to sleep with a bottle? I know A LOT of mom's do that. (I am one of them.) Axel was sooso good at church UNTIL he went nursery, he would pass out for 2 of the hours across Kory's lap and just let us carry him from room to room. Girl is not that way, she gets woken up all the time by everyone. Last week a sister intentionally woke her up, and I swear it took everything in me not to swear at her! WHY DO PEOPLE THINK IT IS OK TO WAKE A BABY!
I think they need to invest in sleeping areas for young babies. you know like a bunch of cubby type rooms with beds in there, and monitors. How great would that be!
Story is sooo funny right now. On Wednesday she was my little assistant, and took it on herself to enforce my rules. It was so funny.
WHat? HEr teacher better love her. She's hilarious. Even though she's trying to run over my child right now with the car she stole from him...
Gauge is so cuddly. I enjoyed just squeezing him the other day. Maybe he didn't enjoy it so much, but I did. :) Also, Story IS hilarious. And her teacher was probably ready for class to be over. But speaking as a once sunbeam teacher, I was ALWAYS ready for class to be over. Sometimes an hour is just WAY too long--for the teachers, and definitely for the kids.
