Downatta Hot Springs

This year for the Anderson get together I suggested we come to Downatta Hot Springs in Idaho. They have a really fun water park at the camp ground with slides, a kiddie fountain area and a big pool. Plus you can drive out to Lava and go down the river on a tube.
Story made some new best friends. She absolutely loves Shauna and her kids. In the pool every time Shauna would swim away Story would cry "Shauna! Wait!"

We went down the river on Saturday and a bunch of us got pretty scraped up. Jerome and I fell out of our double tube right before the water fall, so I went down without a tube and hit the lava rocks at the bottom. My feet are all cut up, but not near as bad as Kelli's arm. I recommend going on a 4 person tube, they are harder to tip over.

I didn't take any pictures while we were there, I stole these from Shauna. We stayed in a Teepee. It was so much nicer than a tent, especially because it had an outlet, so we could run our fan the whole time.

And this last picture if from this morning. Gauge is turning into such a sweet heart. I just can't get enough of him. He is so much like Story, yet a complete opposite from her. He is very timid, doesn't talk much. He is like me and likes to observe people. He is getting so big!! He's already 5 months old and breaks my arm to carry him long distances. He is so sweet and so much fun.

That trip was really fun. During the day. I hated night time. It was crazy uncomfortable at night. Even with my heater in my sleeping bag. He kept falling off the edge and the only thing catching him was my sleeping bag.

Story made us feel extra loved on that trip! She is a cutie! Kelli, I felt like I was falling too so we pushed all our cots together and made one big bed, it was much more comfy that way.
