What a CRAZY week!

I had quite the crazy week this week! It started off with Uncle Bill passing away and less than 24 hours later this cute little girl came into the world. Guess she was just waiting for the okay from Bill to head on down.

Ms. Dani Grace arrived early Monday morning. Then on Tuesday at work I discovered that I could take 3 paid days off because Uncle Bill passed away, that's where it got really crazy. Tuesday night I went to Maggie's awesome dance concert. Wednesday was Jessica's graduation party. This is the only picture I took. I've been bad about taking pictures lately.

Gauge & Dani. A little over 3 Months apart.

Story spent a lot of time running all over town with me. She was a good sport and such a sweet heart the whole time. That is until we went to the funeral on Thursday:

Dad, Uncle Dick, and Aunt Ruth are the survivors of that particular Anderson clan. Thursday I stupidly dragged my two kids to the funeral all by myself. Story was all over the place and Gauge was less than happy being in his car seat during said funeral. I ran out in the hall to catch Story and left Gauge, so he started screaming and I had just had it, so I packed up all our stuff and headed for the door. Then Story ran back into the funeral, I grabbed her arm and she yelled, "eh you leh may!" (her version of "Help me!" in Spanish). Thankfully my mom came and helped me get them out the door. I'm really bummed I missed going to the cemetery. It would have been nice to be with my family for that part.

Friday was spent getting ready for the blessing on Sunday. We had a lot to do and some how managed to get it all done. I baked and crafted all day long. Even snuck in a small photo shoot of Gauge in his blessing get up.

Saturday was spent helping Jerome bark the back yard and get it all ready for the sunshine that didn't end up coming. Hopefully we can get some good use out of it tonight and all this week.

This is Gauge, it looks like he's doing a one handed pull up. :) This little dude decided it was time to start rolling over yesterday. He nearly flew off the couch. I thought it was a fluke, but he did it again right after i put him back on the couch. Thankfully I was sitting next to him and caught him both times.

This morning was harder than usual to leave my two cute kiddos. It was so fun to have a 6 day weekend and play stay-at-home-mom again for almost a week. So great! I have many more posts to come, we're getting our fence put up this week and I will post pictures from that and memorial day.

Dani looks like an old lady in that picture. I didn't realize you were having such a hard time at the funeral or I would have been more help. It was good to see you there though.

yeah I don't think story was the only naughty toddler there, she had two sidekicks who were being equally menacing and destructive. Both squid and Axel almost knocked the guest roll over, and Axel was helping himself to the table of uncle Bill's stuff.

You should have just joined Rainey and I in the back room. I ended up sitting in the car during the burial because it was too windy for Baby Girl, I am sad I missed that part as well, the prayer always gives me so much peace. I will miss Uncle Bill, I always liked chatting with him at Family things, and the stories Ruth told about him were fantastic.

Apparently I could have helped at the funeral cause it wasn't me playing the piano. I love that Story yells ayudame, it's hilarious.
