Smiles

Gauge is starting to smile so much now. You know, just in time for me to go back to work. :( He's also started to coo a lot, which I just love and can't get enough of!

I go back to work Thursday and I'm pretty bummed about it. I have really loved staying home with my babies, It's been a pretty great 12 weeks. I know I wont have to work for forever, but I don't want to miss any moments with them, because they'll only be this age once. Plus we're not having any more kids, so I don't want to miss out on Gauge being an infant.

He's such a stud.

Twinsies. :)

We went out to dinner the other night. Story has gotten a tiny bit easier in restaurants, at least in comparison to how she used to be. Mekhong 2 is Jerome's new favorite place to eat.

That sucks your maternity leave is almost over. I wish I didn't get nervous at just the thought of trying to go out to eat.

I'm sorry too. I know it wont be easy at first, I remember having severe anxiety about lessons last year. It eventually went away. It was still harder, but there are good things about being at work too. I'm glad you got a little more time to be with Gauge this time. His smile is so stinking cute! I really love this stage of babies, when they start smiling and following you with their eyes and giggling!

I'm so sorry you have to go back to work. That's a bummer. Gauge is so cute and that is so fun he started smiling. I'm glad you didn't miss it this time and he did it before you went bck to work:) Good luck on your first day back, i'll be thinkin about ya!

Jeff doesn't EVER go to restaurants. I love eating out, so I make sure that I have someone to go out with me, occasionally. Kinda jealous that Jerome likes going out with you.
Sorry you're going back to the old grind. But, think of it this way: Look how smart and outgoing Story is? I'm sure it has to do with her being around a lot of different people, loving and teaching her even more things than you and Jerome do, each day. And Gauge will be so tough! And when you are home on weekends, they'll love being around you EVERY second. :)

I shouldn't have said "Even more things than you and Jerome do". I meant, "In addition to". Sorry about sounding like a douche. It's late, and therefore even easier easier for me to say stupid things.
