This girl is adjusting slightly better to her new lifestyle. Tomorrow will be my first time getting out of the house with both kids on my own. Wish me luck!!!
We got a new stroller to accomidate both kids. Mainly for our trip to San Fransisco next month. So far I really like it! Story loves to play in it. We went for a walk today with Kelli and Felix. Kelli pushed the stroller and said it was a good one. I think we'll keep it.
Felix seemed to like going for a ride, even though his middle finger is telling us otherwise.
It was a little cold so we didn't last long, plus walking 4 blocks killed my hips. Not quite up to walking super far yet. It felt really really good to get some fresh air though. Thanks for coming to keep me sane Kelli! It made a big difference in my day. I'm having a hard time adjusting to two kids. My depression took a big dip when I had Story and despite my best efforts i'm struggling again after this baby. I know its kind of some what normal to go through it, but its hard and i'm trying to cope. My hormones have my emotions all over the map. Jerome has been a saint in helping me. He lets me take long baths at night to take a break and encourages me to get out of the house while he keeps the kids. He has been my lifesaver. My mom, Kristi, and Kelli have helped a lot by taking care of me and the kids the past two weeks. Its nice to have such awesome family to lean on.
Me and Gaugers ready for our walk. I like the little wrap we have for him. Its bizarre and wraps all around your body, but i like it.

And to explain the weird picture of Story--she was too busy pushing Felix to stop and smile for me, but I tried, I promise. That stroller is awesome. It was really good on grass and dirt and all sorts of terrains that are apparently normal for Payson, where they don't make you put in a sidewalk. And Felix did love it. He was SOOO tired, but did not cry or whine at all!
Oops! That was me (Kelli) I'm on mom's computer!
I like your welcome mat. I'm glad your out and about.
Good luck!!! I'm just getting to this now, so I'm a bit behind, sorry. However, I know what it's like going from one kid, to two..and it's really difficult for the first little while. A lot like going from no kids, to one. You have to take a while to get used to it. And healing on top of that? I know that's gotta be tough. But I'm sure you'll do great.
I am SO jealous of your stroller! I wish I had a nice one that I could take Syd walking/jogging with. My stroller is one I got on clearance at FRED MEYER. And though it still works, it's a bit outdated. I'm too out of the game to lay moola down on a new one, however. I'll just covet yours. You look great, btw. I love your wrap. And I especially love how Gauge looks all wrapped in it.
Is that the moby wrap? Diana told me to get a moby, and it looks like what you have there, so I am just asking so I can say you both recommend it.
So you like your stroller? That's good! I was looking at some today, I don't think Axel is old enough to do the whole seat without a back just yet. I may have to get one of those giant two seat ones.
I am sorry you're having a tough time, I actually had a "feeling" today to ask you how you were doing depression wise. But I feel like I bother you too much with my texts. Anyway, I am glad you got out today, hope it was a good experience.
I want to come play with you too, but I feel like I am intruding. So you just say when.
Good for you taking walks already. I think I was still shut up inside suffering from severe mood swings at this point after Violet. :)
That stroller looks awesome! That'll be nice now that you are out numbered:) Soory you are having a hard time. Adjustments are always hard. Let me know if you ever need anything! I'm glad you were able to get out for a bit. I know for me just breathing in some fresh air helps keep you sane!
It sounds like you're making great progress - good luck with everything and little Guage looks so cute in his wrap!
Hey, we just bought that stroller, too! Except ours is purple. Yeah, it's probably my favorite so far. We had to remove the sun shade, though, since Connor and Elise fight over it.
That is a great picture of you and Gauge! I can't believe that birthing video, holy cow! I don't think I could do that awake, I'm too much of a whimp!
