Its nothing terribly special, but we like it. and YES that is a pink rocking chair, it was in Story's room, but its light enough that its not the end of the world. Jerome cut out his name for me and i covered it in a brown/white hounds tooth paper and the hippo is a brown/white polka dot paper. His bedding is all hippos, it was the cheapest/cutest bedding at target. I really like it. I am all ready to go, i've got all the clothes we need for up to 6 months and he's got a zillion blankets and thanks to felix growing fast, we have a ton of diapers! Anyway, thought i'd share how i've done his room. Enjoy.

I totally agree. I am jealous of your talent and energy to decorate. I suck at it and hate doing it. His room is really the best.

So I was putting up things I have "saved" to put in Axel's room this last week, and realized 2/3 of the items were from you :) haha I haven't even started on all his projects that I planned to do while pregnant with him, and by friday next week I'll probably be changing them all. ha ha
I like your bedding it is really cute. Don't feel bad about your pink chair. Because if we have a girl she will have to live in a blue and green room because 1. I don't want to paint 2. Kory probably wouldn't paint for me. 3. I have been designing this nursery/playroom for over two years now, so boy or girl they will have to deal with it.

I love it! I can't believe I have missed all these posts. I need to blog more, because I'm totally sucking on keeping up with everyone. I didn't even know you were going to name him Gauge. Now I do.
