Up2dAtE

Nothing significant to post about. I feel guilty for leaving the same post up too long though, so i make something up to post about... I also feel the need to wash my hands about a million times a day, just weird querks i guess. Anyway, currently i am working on finishing a very cute baby quilt. I saw some fabric at the fabric store and just had to make a baby quilt out of it. couldn't resist. I am also really liking the book club book i am reading.
My biggest challenge right now is my beautiful daughter. Its really hard for me to allow big messes to be made. I am totally about avoiding these messes, because i dont want to clean them up. She is going through a phase that most kids go through and need to go through to develop... feeding themselves. sometimes it gets really messy. I need to just relax and let her grow and learn. sometimes its hard! Although, it gets her bathed more often, i'm REALLY bad about getter her clean on a regular basis, yes my kid stinks. But that's mom's fault, not hers. so be nice... Kelli. :D Some phases have been really fun with her, not so much this one. I'm working on it though.

Axel has the same problem and it is sooo messy! He has to hold the spoon or it is a big fit! Its hard. he was so dirty by the end of dinner yesterday.

Trust me if you don't let her be messy now she is going to be so inept and helpless when she's older. Kyle's brother couldn't dress himself until he was like a teenager because of similar coddling. You don't want that. And Kyle was the one telling your daughter not to poop while she was hiding in the corner not me!!

Sometimes Messy faces make the cutest pictures! Ashdon has not let me feed him since he started solids the little stinker! Because of that he takes 2-3 baths a day.

I couldn't leave a comment yesterday. Sometimes your blog doesn't like me. :(
I hate letting Syd eat by herself. She only gets like, 1/4 of it in her mouth. And then I have to clean up for an extra 1/2 hour at least, just to get what she's spilled everywhere. And I hate bathing Syd, too. I make Jeff do it. He enjoys taking baths, and it gives him an excuse to do it each day. Don't be hard on yourself. This is the stage where you wish they'd either just get all big and be able to handle everything without any help, or you wish they were infants that relied on you. Cause it was so much easier. They're cute, so they get away with it. But I totally feel your pain.

So where do you get all that energy and how do you put words on your pics? Kelli is right about that. I don't think I let my kids be messy enough. They have these disposable giant paper towels that you put under the high chair on the floor and you can just throw it away. What always grosses me out is the food that gets embedded into the mesh of the seat buckle thing. It never comes out.

Oh shauna I totally agree about the seat buckle thing. Axel sucks on his all the them, and I am like DONT GET IT DIRTY! they always gross me out hardcore. But now I know why others chairs are so sick, its just how it is.
Kass you could get a dog, they clean up great after story. Both Zoe and Celeste loved having her eat at our house the other day :) Pretty soon she is going to figure out how to share with them, and we'll have to put them away while she eats so there is no spoon sharing.
