Today is bittersweet. Today my little pee wee turns 1. She came into our lives 1 year ago today and turned it upside down.
Story is walking around so good, still stumbling, but doing great. She loves Backyardigans and is growing like a weed (except her hair). She is a very funny girl. When she's tired at night she gets cuddly and i love it. The rest of the day she is far too busy and has too much on her plate to stop and cuddle. She loves apple sauce, playing with her cousin Ray, and having pillow fights with her daddy. Im sad, but very excited to see her turn 1. She's a big girl and we love her so much.
Happy Birthday Story!!!
And i can't forget a shout out to Rainey. Story came on her aunt's birthday, but she's so excited to be birthday twinners with her aunt. Happy birthday to you both!

I teared up at that. It's something really heartbreaking/moment making when our babies grow up. I try not to think about it, because if I do, I get overwhelmed at not being able to have the time I need to get to know each baby in the family. Everytime I see Story she's doing something new, and growing, and turning into this kid with a huge personality...and though it's awesome, it's also bittersweet, because life continually goes on. Faster, and faster. Happy Birthday, Story! Having your birthday on December 3rd is SO SPECIAL, because when you get to your 27th birthday, you just stay there forever! It's great. But until then, just be a baby. And make this time last for those of us that enjoy it so much.
You're a great momma, Kass. You and Jerome have done so well.
thanks Rainey. you are so sweet.
Yeah, that post made me insanely jealous and baby hungry. Perfect timing :)
Congrats on your little girl turning 1! It definitely is bittersweet. I feel so proud and excited for every new thing Shane can do and then I suddenly realize that he's not my little newborn anymore!
Happy Birthday Story! The first child's first birthday is an amazing and weird feeling you never forget!
You can put anything on rice. We put dripping roast beef on rice. You can also put your chicken dishes on rice. Here is a famous recipe from Heidi:
Stir fry an egg or two with leftover rice, peas, and green onions. Serve with soy sauce.
oh how the time goes by soo soo fast! She is so big, and fun and you guys really did do such a great job! Can you believe it she is 1! no more new baby girl learning to hold up her head, no more 5 month old learning to sit up, no more 9 month old learning to crawl, and now she is 1 and walking all over the place! I guess we just need to embrace every stinking moment!
Happy Birthday Storey!!!!
Happy birthday Story! She is such a beautiful little girl.
