Today I'm stuck at home. I should be at work, but my ankles and feet are the size of watermelons! So I'm at home with my feet up watching ANTM. :0) I have a problem doing too much on my feet when i get home from work, and i over did it last night and am paying for it today. Any suggestions for swollen ankles?

My friend in Hawaii got the worst swollen ankles because she would walk to and from work everyday. She started wearing those Granny pressure sock/tight things and they really helped. I remember my feet would swell worse if I ate alot of salty food, which was almost everyday because that was all I wanted. I don't know what else you can do besides what you are already doing. I remember asking my doctor and she wasn't much help but maybe yours has a secret trick! Good luck!

What you're doing, in addition to drinking water, is the best thing. I've been taking the whole "putting my feet up" thing too literally, lately. So now I feel like ANYTHING I do wears me out: Showering, going upstairs, putting on my clothes...I'm a bit on the pathetic side. However, after I have Sydney, this way of life will be forever gone, so I'm also kind of taking advantage.

I have never been pregnant however one thing that may help to prevent the swollen ankles is each night after you "over do it" elevate them up against a wall for 10 minutes or longer while you lay on your back. I did this when I was dancing all of the time because I have really poor circulation, both going to my feet and blood going from my feet. I know its not the same as being pregnant but it helped so much.

That sucks that you have swollen ankles. Remember it'll all be woth it in the end:) I've never really had swollen ankles, so I dont have any great suggestions. Just take it easy. Thats kinda nice to have a day off though. Any luck on the job search for Jerome?

Liposuction. I hear it fixes lots of "swollen" problems.

I have some of those pressure sock that mom gave me, do you want me to bring them over? Also Kidney Activator is good too. How is your blood pressure?
