Well our crappy $68 dollar vacuum broke when we went to vacuum up all the new carpet threads. So we ran out and made the purchase of a lifetime! I will never again spend less than 70 dollars on a vacuum! We purchased the Hoover Mach 5! It is truly amazing! Besides the fact that its cute and orange, it has one feature that i will always appreciate.... no winding cord! you unplug it and hit a button and it sucks it back up into the vacuum! It makes vacuuming so much easier! i've always hated winding up the vacuum cord, but no more!! I highly recommend this fine piece of machinery!

yeah for a new vacuum! Yeah that high carpet will do it for sure! How exciting that you don't have to wind up the cord!
I am so jealous. I got a new vacuum...it was a $45 dollar one, and it about broke me. But now I have one for upstairs and downstairs....and I don't have to lug it or down. I do have to wind the cord, though. And it's not orange, it's boring blue. And put to the nice, full threaded carpet, instead of my threadbare carpet....probably is extra pitiful in comparison.
Nathan always gets mad at me because I wind the cord the lazy way and just wrap it around my arm and then place it on the little hook. It drives him CRAZY! Maybe I should tell him about your new vacuum.
Winding the cord is the worst part, isn't it??
