Our Adventurous Night!

This was our living room when I got home from work last night.
This was a half hour later.
We put in 5 successful can lights, one not so successful. One just happened to be where two beams crossed, which our stud finder failed to tell us about!
We've been wondering what was under the carpet to make it such a rollercoaster! Very wavy forever old wood, that's what!

We got these windows, but at what cost? Well, the taller of the two (not the wider) didn't fit in my car past where the tires are on the outside, so we laid all our seats flat and poor Jerome had to sit back there and hold it in the car on the half hour drive home! It was freezing cold with the back open, and we had to take all the back roads to avoid the police, because if we got pulled over we'd be in big trouble, because we don't have any registration! (I lost it :] oops!)
Our living room remodel has begun. Not of course without injuries! I was knocking the tile out of the windowsill and apparently broken tile is really sharp! I sliced my hand open a little. We're replacing the windows, windowsills (or lack there of), the ceiling fan, and repainting & carpeting. We're hoping it wont take more than a week before we're painted. We're going to have a lot of long nights!

You guys should have just ordered your windows from Kurt's guy. They delivered them right to our house. And out of all the people we called for quotes they were the cheapest by about 300 dollars.
You guys are so dedicated to getting stuff done! I don't know if we are ever going to get stuff done.
