We got Story a bumbo, she really likes it. She's been trying to sit up on her own lately, so we got this. She likes being at eye level with everyone, she's like her dad and wants to be very busy all the time!

hEr NeW tHiNg...

This was Story's church outfit  yesterday. i bought her the littlest pair of tights they had, they only fit around her thighs. :0)

As cute as this little girl is, her new thing for the last 2 or 3 nights has been to scream for an hour until she finally goes to sleep at night. good times...

And then when i pick her up in the morning to get dressed for the day she smiles so big at me, like nothing happened the night before....

Which makes it so much harder to still be mad at her... she's got the system down, she's a smart girl.

We went to the Dr on Friday, she has almost gotten rid of her cold and is up to 11lbs 3oz and is officially 2 feet tall. She is getting so big!

She's so good at smiling for the camera lately. I love it!

This is a little ridiculous! This is Story's TV face, she is very much like her dad, because that is his TV face too! She loves watching TV. Not good. Not good at all.

I put some vinyl pink birdies on her dresser last night.

This is my new favorite picture. She loves the bath, she screams when we get her out. i asked her to smile for dad to take the picture and she put on a big grin for us!

nEw hAiR...

So i am making an effort to look nice, i don't want to be a frumpy lady anymore, so i am dressing nicer for work and doing my hair... in other words i've quit being lazy when it comes to my appearance. :0) So last night Leisha dyed my hair for me. Dark brown on top and Blonde on bottom...

This is Rayder, Story's only cousin on Jerome's side of the family. He helps take care of her on Monday's and Thursday's. Check out Story's little thighs! They're getting so chubby-licious and i love it!

sPoNtAnEoUs...

Jerome and i made a last minute trip to Trafalga last night! This was Story's first attempt at mini golf. She was so weirded out by all the lights and sounds, it was pretty funny! Her eyes were huge just looking everywhere. :0)

We were sure to stick her in a stylish outfit to outshine any other baby that might be there.

Jerome got to wear the snugli and he still beat me by 5 points!

After mini golf we played the arcades for a bit and won Story a "Thing 1" for 1000 tickets. She loved it! We had a lot of fun! We love Trafalga!

NuThiN nEw

Nothing too new in our neck of the woods, bug's got the stuffy face, lots of boogars. Poor girl, listening to her try to suck on her binki and breathe at the same time is so sad. She's really not one to complain about it though.

My only other exciting news is i got "That 70's Show" on DVD! I went to Target and Walmart and no one carries those seasons, so Jerome ordered it off ebay for me, it was way way cheaper to buy the whole series than to buy the seasons one at a time, so they're in the mail! YAY! its my new obsession, i have a hard time committing to new shows, i don't want to get too involved and have to wait to find out what happens, so i've been sticking to shows that are off the air now, i recently got over Will & Grace. and before that, Friends and Futurama. 

Anyway, i hope this little bug gets better soon. Seems like everyone is getting sick! Everyone at work has a cold or the flu, its been hard to stay well this season.

PoLaR bEaRs

i wasn't going to post these, because i thought Rainey was going to, but since she didn't and i have nothing else to post about i'll show you our polar bears! Story is on the left and Syd is on the right. These two would not be awake together. Everytime one would wake up, the other would fall asleep, it was kind of funny. :0)

While at work today grandma Kristi sent me this picture. She's smiling!! I feel like i've missed out on so much this week, i've only seen her smile once or twice, but i hear she does it a lot. :0( At least she's happy though right? i can't wait for this weekend to play with her!

This is the only picture i have so far, i am getting more from Kristi, one that i am really excited for is of Story and her 2 grandpa's. :0) I think she looks kind of funny in that dress, but it was the one i was blessed in, my dad's mom made it when i was a baby. It's surprisingly still white! I was excited about her bracelet that Aunt Ashley and Uncle Chris gave her, because it went so well with her dress. She also had little silk bloomers on, but no one could really see those. Here are some more cute pictures i wanted to post too:

hERe i aM.

Well, here i am... back at work. It wasn't as hard as i thought, leaving Story, i didn't cry. I'm not quite sure that it has set in yet though. I am not even through all of my emails yet. So far I am doing good, i don't really have a full day either, because i showed up at work at noon. I had my final Dr's appointment this morning and then had to drop Story off at Grandma Kristi's. The Dr said things are looking great! I weigh 5 pounds less then before i was pregnant (only 30 more pounds to go!) and my big scar is healing quite nicely. Apparently when i twist and turn and feel like my body is ripping in half, that's normal and will go away in a month or two. Ouch! I am almost back to normal, but feel 100% most of the time. 

I just wanted to say THANKS! to everyone who came yesterday and especially thanks to those who brought food. Jerome did a fantastic job blessing Story and thanks to those who showed their love and support. Sorry our house is so small, it was pretty packed!! We appreciate everyone for coming, our house was super clean by the time everyone cleared out, i was amazed! We haven't cleaned all the food up yet, we were pretty lazy last night. I will post pictures of Story in her blessing dress tomorrow.

I can't believe how fast the last month has past. i am very sad to say that i will be going back to work on Monday. I am going to miss my little bug all day long! :0( i am going to have a really hard time leaving her, but luckily we are leaving her in such good hands. Kristi and my mom and Kelli are going to be watching her. Jerome gets Wednesday's with her and i get her all day Saturday. Anyway, i am sad to go back, but its something i've got to do... wish me luck!

Yudu

So my work gave me a machine to beta test called a Yudu machine, it is a silk screening machine.  Jerome silk screened that shirt for his dad for Christmas. Part of the deal with getting the machine is that we have to hold a party and make T-Shirts, but we need a design. So what i was thinking was people could email me designs and then i'll post them all in a week and people can vote on them, then after we have chosen a shirt people can come over to our house and bring their size t-shirt and we can silk screen them. The T-Shirts have to be a one color design, because we're not good enough to do 2 colors just yet, plus we only have one screen. So I'll do a couple designs and hopefully some of you guys will too!
